JOHANNESBURG - Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane will answer all questions related to the Absa bailout report. Mkhwebane hopes to set the record straight.
This comes after Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba criticised Mkhwebane. The minister argued that Mkhwebane failed to provide a meticulous investigation into the Absa matter.
On the other had Mkhwebane has criticised the SA Reserve Bank and government for failing to recuperate a R1.125-billion bailout, given by the apartheid government to Bankorp/Absa Bank.
