CAPE TOWN - Huawei has announced that users who have purchased a Huawei P20, P20 Lite, and the P20 device will receive what the company is calling, "a first-class service option," available at no charge. 

The Huawei Diamond VIP Service for the P20 series 

“The Huawei P20 devices are premium phones, and so their users deserve a premium service. The total value of this service, which is free for our P20 users, is just under R4,000", said Likun Zhao, GM of Huawei Consumer Business Group SA.

The benefits that are available with this service offering are:

1. Screen Damage Protection Service 

Customers can receive one free front screen repair or replacement.

However, it has to be within the first year of warranty. 

2. Door-to-door Collection and Delivery Service

When you need your device repaired, you can arrange for free collection and delivery from your home or office if you are unable to get to the Huawei Customer Service Centres. 

3. Loan Devices 

Huawei promises consumers that they will give them an option to loan a device when their phones are being repaired.

4. Maintenance Service

You can also get a free software upgrade and a memory and system clean-up. Phone parts are also cleaned.

5. Fast Repair 

 Users of the devices can have their device repaired within one hour on weekdays. 

6. Free Screen Protector 

 If the original screen protector has been damaged, consumers can receive one free screen protector replacement. 

7. VIP Dedicated Care Line 

If you need any assistance, contact Huawei’s VIP support centre with any queries.

8. Free Laser Engraving Service 

Receive one free phone engraving service at the Huawei Customer Service Centres.

 Additionally, owners of any P20 device also get a to a two-year warranty.
