CAPE TOWN - Sony has announced that the Xperia XZ2 is now available in South Africa.

The handset is only available from select service providers such as Vodacom, Telkom, and MTN on 24-month contracts.

Here are the prices:

1. The XZ2 is available through Vodacom for R599 per month over 24 months on the uChoose Flexi 165 package.

2. Telkom will charge you R549 per month over 24 months on the Free Me 1GB package.

3. MTN will offer it on the MTN Made For Me Mcontract at the price of R599 per month for 24 months.

Additionally, each service provider will give you extra items when getting the device, such as: 

Vodacom is giving subscribers a free cover, a stereo Bluetooth headset, and an audio jack adapter.

MTN will be giving a cover for the device and a stereo Bluetooth headset and Vodacom will be offering the same items as MTN. 

However, if you're not keen on getting the device on a contract deal, the Sony Xperia XZ2 can be bought cash with a price tag of R13 499.
