DURBAN - LIT bundles are now available for Telkom prepaid subscribers. The bundles offer video and music data which expire after 31 days.

Telkom LIT is a collection of media streaming services that are packaged into the FreeMe mobile contracts and certain fixed-line and fixed-LTE services.

The LIT bundles are available to Telkom prepaid and data customers:

- LIT 50GB Video, which is valid for 31 days: R229
- LIT 10 GB, which is valid for 31 days: R99

This bundle is available to customers that have FreeMe 2GB, 5GB, 10GB, 20GB or a Unlimited Telkom mobile contract.

With LIT_Video, if one has a FreeMe contract that is 5GB and more or alternatively, an Unlimited plan then the perk to stream using their cellphone, laptop or tablet is accessible.


With LIT_ music consumers can enjoy non-stop music that is not interrupted by advertisements.

Services backed by LIT at launch are:

- Google Play Music and Movies
- iTunes and Apple Music
- Simfy Africa
- DStv BoxOffice
- DStv Now
- Netflix
- Showmax
- Youtube

Telkom is also planning on adding more services to LIT' zero-rated list in the future.

Telkom also has another video streaming service, Showmax, which is available on it's network. For an extra R99 per month on your account, you stream roughly 25000 titles.
