Cape Town - Nike has managed yet again to become one of the world's talking points with the release of its "Dream Further" advert.

The new 3-minute video encourages athletes to "Dream Further" and follows Nike's "Dream Crazier" ad, which included several prominent female athletes, such as our very own Caster Semenya making an appearance, while Serena Williams narrated the commercial.

The new "Dream Further" campaign comes just before the Fifa Women's World Cup is set to kick off, and features a young girl rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest names in football.

The commercial takes the girl on a journey, showing her that her dreams of being a soccer star are valid, and encouraging her to dream further. It also goes on to show how a woman being the coach of one of the top European soccer clubs should not be unheard of.

Making appearances are athletes Lieke Martens, Daniëlle van de Donk, Asisat Oshoala, Amandine Henry, Grace Geyoro, Marie-Antoinette Katoto, Fran Kirby, Ji So-yun, Sara Däbritz, Andressa Alves, Wang Shuang, Crystal Dunn, Sam Kerr, Alex Scott, Danielle Levitt, Neymar Jr., Philippe Coutinho and Gerard Piqué.

The advertisement then ends with the message: "Don't change your dream. Change the world."

The Fifa Women's World Cup is taking place this year in France, and starts on Friday, June 7 when host country France faces South Korea.
