Rapper AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes, and ECR’s Bongani Mtolo set aside their past differences for a candid radio interview last week.

The interview was off to a “Supa Mega” start after AKA opted to quickly ask the DJ about the tweet and viral video that Bongani posted late last year regarding AKA’s rival Cassper Nyovest.

In the video, Bongani suggested that AKA was attempting to ride Cassper’s wave by offering to his rival.

“All of a sudden AKA wants to join and wants them to partner up and do it half-half. No guy. They were beefing, they must carry on beefing. What we are focusing on right now is filling FNB Stadium and that is all that needs to be there. AKA must just sit down and stop trying to get in this guy's shine," Bongani said.

AKA took to Twitter to slam Bongani and claimed that his offer had "actually helped promote" Cassper's #FillUpFNBStadium.

"This type of divisive thinking is so unfortunate. Personally, I think my tweets actually helped promote the event. Spread positivity. Not this," he tweeted.

After the beef was settle between the two, AKA said to Bongani that he feels very proud to be where he is now.

“I’m in a great place. Very positive, very happy, amazing place,” he said, before he started to sing “Amazing Grace”.

The rapper also opened up to Bongani and Mags about his latest album release, 'Touch My Blood'. And spoke about his relationship with Queen B (Bonang Matheba), who he referred to as 'Beyonce', saying he couldn’t legally mention names.

AKA revealed that he believes 'Beyonce' was cheating on him and that while he doesn’t regret his relationship with her, he's no longer in love with her.

He also spoke of his relationship with his three year old daughter, Kairo, who also features on his new album.

And in a series of blitz questions, he revealed that he has apologised to the mother of his child, DJ Zinhle and that he still loves her but didn’t quite come out and say if they dating again.

It would seem that once AKA starts talking, he just can't stop.

The 'All Eyes on Me' hitmaker also appeared on #WTFTumi on Monday — ironically the same night his ex-girlfriend Bonang Matheba's controversial appearance on "Real Talk on 3" with new host Azania Mosaka, after Matheba turned down #WTFTumi's invite some two weeks ago.

During the interview, the 30-year-old rapper again spoke about — among other things — what's dearest to his heart, his baby girl, Kairo.
