Beyoncé Knowles’ army of fans around the globe has a new recruit – 17-month-old Blue Ivy.

The singer, who recently placed fourth on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list, revealed that her daughter was a huge fan of her work and was a little star struck when she realised that her mother featured as Queen Tara in the animated film 'Epic'.

“I showed her a few of the scenes. She's still young, so her attention span is about 20 minutes, but she did see it. She was like, “Wait a minute. That's you!” said Beyoncé in an interview with Australia’s The Project.

“So I think she figured it out. She seemed to be impressed.”

On Thursday, Queen Bey, as she is known to her fans, shared a picture of her daughter donning a crown via her Tumblr blog.

She also posted a picture in which her hair is styled into a beehive, where she leans into a pram and baby Blue is reaching out to touch her.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé claims she can no longer stand her own voice.

“I hate hearing myself speak. I think everyone does. I hear my little crazy voice coming out of this beautiful, regal woman – I'm like this is really strange, but I love it.

“Just seeing yourself animated and seeing yourself doing something you could never do in real life – I've always thought, for whatever reason, that would be super cool.”

This admission doesn’t, however, mean that the multi-award-winning singer wants to take a break. Beyoncé is adamant that she can juggle singing, motherhood and acting because she is a “machine”.

“If I do things that I love, then it works out, and I find time [for myself]. And I'm passionate about it. So, I think that's the key to life. It's just finding what you love—and as long as it comes from that passion—my body is like a machine!” - IOL
