Chrissy Teigen took to Twitter to confess she panicked when she returned home to find her toilet missing as her and her husband John Legend are having a fancy Japanese toilet installed.

The 'Sports Illustrated' model - who is expecting her second child - rushed home as she was desperate to use the bathroom but was left shocked when she realised it had disappeared.

Recalling what happened, she wrote on Twitter:

I got home today and ran to go peepee and you know when you’re so close to the bathroom so you kind of release because you know you’re about to pee, well I did that and my toilet was gone.

However, her husband John Legend quickly took to the social media site to explain just why there was no toilet in their home.

He wrote: "I can explain ... We're upgrading our regular toilet to one of those fancy Japanese ones that opens itself and washes your butt. Apparently, our contractor decided there should be a toilet-less transition period. (sic)"

And when one fan asked what they planned to do until the new one was installed, John replied: "We have other bathrooms!"

Meanwhile, Chrissy previously took to Twitter to admit she is struggling to find a name for her and John's unborn baby.

Captioning a picture of a number of unisex baby names, she wrote on Twitter: "Jesus Christ my baby will have no name (sic)"

A source had previously revealed that John and Chrissy are "so excited" that their daughter Luna is going to be a big sister.

They said: "They have been planning for this for a long time. Chrissy is really excited to finally share the news. They are so excited to make Luna a big sister. They think Luna will do a great job with the baby and they're really happy to be expanding their family."
