Kevin Hart thinks Katt Williams' recent criticism of him is "sad".

The 52-year-old comedian recently slammed Hart, 44, during an appearance on the 'Club Shay Shay' YouTube show.

Williams said: "In 15 years in Hollywood, no one in Hollywood has a memory of going to a sold-out Kevin Hart show, there being a line for him, ever getting a standing ovation at any comedy club."

Williams also claimed that he rejected a series of movies before they were offered to Hart.

He added: "It’s interesting, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Again, I’m on the winning side of these decisions."

However, Hart has now taken to social media to fire back at the comedian..

The Hollywood star also took the opportunity to promote his latest project.

Hart wrote on X: "Gotta get that anger up outcha champ….It’s honestly sad. In the meantime…. Please enjoy MY MOVIE TRAILER to my next film “LIFT” which will be dropping on @netflix in 8 days!!!!! There is a moment in the trailer where @gugumbatharaw says “They Really Love You” ….I now know she’s talking about “Katt” [laughng emojis] Mark yo calendars world!!!! This one is SPECIAL!!!! (sic)"

Meanwhile, Williams also slammed Steve Harvey during his appearance on the YouTube show.

The comedian claimed that Harvey, 66, failed in his ambition to become a movie star.

He said: "You couldn’t be a movie star. There are 30,000 new scripts in Hollywood every year. Not one of them asked for a country-bumpkin black dude that can’t talk good and look like Mr Potato Head.

"Steve told you that he stopped doing stand-up because he has seven TV shows. The only problem is when he stopped stand-up, he didn’t have those seven TV shows."
