Why, Onika Why? Was the general response on the Twitterverse after international rapper superstar Nicki Minaj had a Twitter meltdown on Sunday following the official announcement that "Queen" will bow in at number 2 on the Billboard 200 charts this week.

Nicki meltdown comes after the rapper's new album "Queen" didn't reach its expected first-week sales targets.

The "Barbie Dreams" rapper then blamed Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner, their seven-month-old daughter Stormi Webster and Spotify.

It all started when Nicki posted a picture of Kylie Jenner promoting Travis' tour merch on Instagram stating that she and Stormi can't wait to see him on tour.

Nicki captioned a screenshot on Twitter by saying that Travis sold 50k of these T-Shirts which included an album bundled with it and saying that Travis' "knows he doesn’t have the #1 album this week" even though Billboard stated that Travis again received the top spot on the charts.

Travis sold over 50K of these. With no requirement of redeeming the album! With no dates for a tour, etc. I spoke to him. He knows he doesn’t have the #1 album this week. I love my fans for the #1 album in AMERICA! I’ll explain on #QueenRadio4 albums in, #1 in 86 countries ♥️ pic.twitter.com/CiYEuczgm3

Basically, insinuating it was his bundled sales with tour tickets and merch that boosted his sales. Even though Nicki's is doing that same thing with her upcoming tour with Future.

Both Nicki and Travis did the same thing he just did it better pic.twitter.com/VxES9YJ6VO

In the following series of tweets, she gave incorrect first-week sales numbers for her album, saying the only reason Travis' album is doing so well was due to Kylie promoting the tour. She also accused Spotify of "teaching her a lesson" because she played some of the tracks on her Apple Beats 1 Queen Radio show before it went live on the streaming service.

My first album sold 400K. No one is doing that with debut albums now. So I’m so grateful. I lost out on 12 hours of sales and did 200K in one week after I was supposedly cancelled. I bit my tongue last #QueenRadio but I won’t On Tuesday. I love you guys so much

I looked at the numbers the Carters, Kanye, Nas, etc recently did. Travis sold 200K in his first week of clothes alone. I spoke to him last night & he said he’s been selling clothes b4 the music. Billboard says they’ll change the rules cuz of this, so it should be changed now!

I put my blood sweat & tears in writing a dope album only for Travis Scott to have Kylie Jenner post a tour pass telling ppl to come see her & Stormi. lol. Im actually laughing. #Queen broke the record of being number 1 in 86 countries. Thank Jesus & thank you to my fans.

Spotify put drake’s face on every playlist but told me they’d have to teach me a lesson for playing my music 10 mins early on #QueenRadio. Even tho they’ve been giving away my music for free for years & I am one of the top Spotify artists of all time.

— QUEEN (@NICKIMINAJ) August 19, 2018

Spotify had to teach me a lesson but rewarded the man who has had an Apple radio show the longest; inadvertently helping the Apple platform the most. Oh I can’t wait for #QueenRadio on Tuesday. They took away my promotion they had promised for the 1st cpl days b/c of this. #Queen

— QUEEN (@NICKIMINAJ) August 19, 2018

My music went up on Apple so I played it. I assumed it was on Spotify & Tidal at the same time. Spotify said that Apple tweeted fans advising #Queen was up & therefore they had to teach me a lesson. But PRAISE BE TO GOD!!!!!!

Do you know how many people subscribe to my Spotify page?????

Nicki's rant did not sit well with tweeps, with some fans comparing her "sloppy" job of promoting her new album to other successful artists.

One thing i don’t get about Nic is ... Why don’t you already have videos ready for the singles? Why is the promotion so sloppy. Bey puts out WHOLE visual albums. Drake has videos ready in no time and goes #1. She has the budget, idgi pic.twitter.com/BTOX2O2xHr

I can’t believe Nicki Minaj tried to attribute her L to Travis Scott to a baby and Kylie in this weeks sales. Did we forget when Kylie and the whole kardashian family supported Tyga album and it went TRIPLE COPPER. Accept #2 sis... ain’t no baby prevent ya album from being #1.

The thing is, we know she is the Queen of Rap, but does she?? There really was nothing to defend. Let the music speak for itself. Fuck the numbers. pic.twitter.com/DEhlkdglRo

Also uncomfortable at her only bringing up the struggle black women endure when it serves her agendas that are in NO WAY comparable or relevant to the discrimination the everyday black woman experiences.

That’s the worse thing, there is nothing wrong with Nicki being #2 for this album.

The rollout for her 4th album has been nothing short of messy and she even came for Lady Gaga last week in an attempt to excuse her collaboration with convicted statutory rapist Tekashi 6ix9ine in a now-deleted tweet.

Nicki told fans that she would justify her meltdown during Queen Radio on Tuesday and that she has a freestyle ready to address everything.

But I did write a new freestyle n I’ll record it later. I felt it was time. #Queen pic.twitter.com/TEoKWGtYxh
