Kim Kardashian West has admitted she was completely naked when President Trump called her to discuss Alice Marie Johnson.

The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star was doing a nude photoshoot when the 72-year-old politician phoned her to arrange a meeting at the White House regarding Alice Marie Johnson - a 62-year-old great-grandmother who was incarcerated for 22 years for a non-violent drug offence - after she wrote him a letter to discuss clemency.

Speaking on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' on Monday, she said: "I'm naked and my phone rings and I'm all glammed up. I put a robe on and I was kinda bugging out during the shoot because I'm like 'Oh, my God, all these amazing things are happening.' "

The 37-year-old beauty was invited to the White House in May with her lawyers to discuss Alice's case but she has admitted things didn't get off to the best of starts.

She explained: "I walk in and I look around and I'm kinda starstruck by the Oval Office. And the first thing I say in our meeting, I say, 'Holy sh** we're in the f***ing Oval Office.' "

Kim's husband Kanye West, with whom she has three children; North, five, Saint, two, and Chicago, seven months, regularly comes under fire for praising the president, but the reality TV star is adamant he doesn't agree with everything Trump says or does.

She explained: "Yeah, I think he really [does like him], yeah. I always respect what another person thinks and to make it clear, when we would talk about it and would talk about policies, he doesn't necessarily agree with [Trump's] policies but he likes his personality and how he made it to be president when everyone really underestimated him. [Kanye]'s not political so he doesn't really dig deep with what's going."

And, although she initially wanted Trump's rival Hilary Clinton to take over as president, she has admitted she has "nothing bad" to say about him after their successful meeting.

She added: "I have nothing bad to say about the president."
