And then it was about cars!

Local producers DJ Maphorisa and Prince Kaybee's "who's is bigger" contest doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.

What started as an argument about ownership of masters recordings that turned into a streaming and charting battle, has now turned into who has the better car battle.

Taking to his Twitter page, the "Lorch" hitmaker posted a video of him drifting in his BMW M4 tagging the "Fetch Your Life" hitmaker in the post. Maphorisa's blue beast retails at around R1.5m.

Prince Kaybee responded by "randomly" posting a picture of him tying his shoes with his Mercedes-Benz AMG GT clearly visible in the back. His German beast retails between R2.2m and R3m.

This comes after the two men pulled out receipts on each other on Wednesday.

The "Lorch" producer kicked things off by pulling charting numbers for Apple Music, Spotify and Shazam.

DJ Maphorisa boldly proclaimed that it was "time for stats" before he decided to take a dig at Prince Kaybee, producing his own charting statistics.

The "Fetch You Life" hitmaker responded to his stats by throwing a bit of shade and mocked the designer headwraps DJ Maphorisa is always seen wearing.

Following this, Prince Kaybee said that in the last five years he's the only local artist to have three diamond singles and seven platinum singles from one album.

He ended his rant by asking if any of DJ Maphorisa's songs have gotten over 100 million streams, and saying that he has sold more records with his one album compared to all of the "Nala Thula" hitmaker's albums combined.
