While Mzansi is still processing the fact that Beyoncé is going to perform in South Africa in December, Cassper Nyovest shared snaps of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin chilling at the rapper's Joburg crib.
Martin, who is also billed to perform at the Global Citizen Festival alongside Queen Bey and other local and international artists, serves as the curator of the international event.
He visited South Africa earlier this year to scout possible festival locations and chat to politicians, sponsors, business leaders and artists.
Since the big announcement on Monday, and with Nyovest set to take the stage too, the 'Destiny' rapper could finally share pictures of his meeting with Martin.
Nyovest posted a series of pictures on Instagram and Twitter showing them having lunch and what appears to be in deep conversation.
The rapper also mentions that Martin told him that he loves his song 'Malome' and that he would love to perform it with him one day.
By the way, Chris Martin from ColdPlay came to see me at my house the other day. He told me he loved the song “Malome” and would like to perform it with me 1 day. He’s so passionate about helping & changing the world. Amazing human being. Hopefully we’ll get to make some music.
