Kwaito singing Mshoza is reportedly under 24-hour protection after fleeing her from her estranged husband Thuthukani Mvula amidst cheating and assault allegations.

TsishaLIVE spoke to the singer's manager Thanduxolo Jindela who said that the reason the singer has gone into hiding is that she feels her life is in danger.

"Mshoza has been going through a lot in the last few days and is still very scared. She fears for her life and has been trying to make sense of everything. I think it is all hitting her now, the impact of what happened, and so the best place for her right now is under 24-hour protection."

Police spokesperson Sergeant Mmako Mophiring has confirmed that the 'Abantu Bam' singer laid an assault charge against Mvula last week at the Phuthaditjhaba police station in QwaQwa, Free State.

"I am waiting for a report from the investigating officer to get more of the details and the status of the case but as far as I know, Thuthukani has not handed himself over to police yet and we are still investigating," Mophiring said.

Speaking to Sowetan, Mvula denied the assault allegation and claimed that Mshoza was the one that was cheating, not him.

"She is plotting something against me with her policeman boyfriend."
