Local model Nicole Nyaba set the record straight on rumours that were circling last year, alluding that she was AKA's side chick.
Appearing on SABC3's Trending SA, Nyaba was asked by co-host Nina Hastie whether there was any truth in the rumours that she was involved with Supa Mega while he was still with Bonang Matheba.
Nyaba simply replied: "I was not AKA's side chick".
The rumours initially started swirling when Nyaba posted her picture posing in front of AKA's BMW i8 in a parking lot.

Nyaba said the reason she was posing in front of the car was that she was parked close by and claimed that people were disturbing her as she was trying to take a photo elsewhere in the parking lot.
Her photographer then suggested she move over and ended up taking the picture with AKA's car in the background.

However, co-hosts Pabi Moloi and Musa Mthombeni facial expressions during her explanation seemed as if they were not buying Nyaba story.
Khuli Roberts then asked her then asked if she'd be interested in AKA since he's single now, but Nyaba simply laughed and didn't give a definitive answer.
Moloi then asked her if she was dating someone and while Nyaba said she's not dating anyone, there is a guy that she likes but she didn't reveal his name.
