The Miss South Africa Diamond Jubilee, which takes place on Sunday, May 27, is set to be a grand affair and a celebration of six decades of remarkable women.
The Miss South Africa organisers have pulled out all stops to ensure that the 2018 Miss South Africa pageant – to be hosted by Bonang Matheba – will be a glittering affair.
About 40 former Miss South Africa title holders will be in attendance including Miss Worlds Penny Rey Coelen (1958), Anneline Kriel Bacon (1974) and Rolene Strauss (2014) as well as current Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and Miss Universe 1978 Margaret Gardiner.
Joining the other former beauty queens will be Basetsana Makgalamele Kumalo (1994), Kerishnie Naiker (1997) and Bokang Montjane Tshabalala (2010).
The Miss SA 2018 will be televised live and simulcast on M-Net (DStv Channel 101) and Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161) from 5pm to 7pm.
