Idols SA judge Somizi and now fiancé Mohale Motaung confirmed their engagement on the Metro FM breakfast show on Monday morning.
Phoning in from Durban, Somgaga confirmed that he got engaged to his bae, Mohale Motaung, at the love lock bridge in Paris while they were on baecation in Europe.

"Yes, I did. (It was) on the 'love lock' bridge with the Eiffel Tower behind us. I've watched too many movies obviously," said Somizi.
The local entertainer posted a picture of him and Motaung Love Lock Bridge simply captioning the post with #Locked.

Somgaga also made it clear that he doesn't plan on making it a long engagement and is ready to walk down the aisle asap.
"I wanted to wait for the right time to tell everyone, but eish. Paparazzi. I'm not a long time engager. I'm not talking about getting engaged 7 years ago. It must be within a year-ish."

After the engagement confirmation, Somizi also shared a close-up video the matching engagement rings he and Motaung are wearing.
