Who would've thought that when Mufasa dropped 'Tito Mboweni' he would predict one of our future Finance Ministers?
Local rapper Cassper Nyovest is having a lot of fun since the appointment of Tito Mboweni as the new Finance Minister and even received a mention on CNN news.
The "Destiny" rapper dropped the club banger in 2017 and initially, some weren't feeling it due to the simple chorus, "Tito Mboweni (sha, sha)", now Nyovest is having the last laugh.
During a segment on CNN discussing the revolving door of Finance Ministers over the last couple of years CNN Africa correspondent Eleni Giokos asked if any other finance ministers have a song named after them and then played a clip from the "Tito Mboweni" music video.
The local rapper quickly got hold of the clip with Nyovest quote tweeting it saying, "Mama we made it on CNN!!!".
The rapper's fans also jumped in on the celebration with funny responses.
