Local rapper Riky Rick teased a teenager in a Braamfontein store for wearing fake designer shoes.
In the video the rapper is seen mocking the teenager for wearing fake Balenciaga shoes.
The rest of his entourage then start laughing with Riky requesting a plastic bag to throw them away.
Lol😂😂 Riky did a great job tho🔥😂 I salute him. pic.twitter.com/m0lPKkQ1Qt
The video left many tweeps unimpressed as the "cringeworthy" video it made its rounds. Here's what some of them had to say:
That video of Riky Rick telling that kid to take off his fake shoes is cringeworthy. Worse, you could see he felt like a boss doing it.
The Riky Rick video makes me sad because it's like a knock for people who aspire to be like him.
Riky getting the kid some Vans doesn't make his behavior acceptable either. There's no need to humiliate and ridicule a 3rd world child
Inoba ndinochuku, I don't find what Riky did amusing at all. How humiliating.
However, Riky has responded to the outrage of the whole altercation telling his followers to not "be sensitive".
Nkosi yam, the kid sum of u are saying was "humiliated" is saying "thank you" for being saved from "Falenciagas". Dont be sensitive bafethu. pic.twitter.com/sG4Gy0QELH
