Local entertainer Zodwa Wabantu is not letting the haters get her down and is reclaiming people calling her a b*tch.

The vosho queen is known for not caring what people think of her and has no problem with people calling her a b*tch and even calls herself it sometimes.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Wabantu admitted that she is well aware of people calling her offensive names. And she has learned that words can't hurt you unless you give them the power to hurt you.

"I've had to explain why I call myself by these names to the three men I actually care about. They were hurt because they thought I was bullying myself for the audience benefit but I explained that I am taking my power back. They told me calling myself things like b*tch  would mess with my brand or confidence," Wabantu explained.

"Shame, the guys in my life worried a lot. It hurt them that I would claim these names because for them they are not nice names. But once I explained they understood where I was coming from."

The reason for Wabantu reclaiming the word was to take the power away from the social media trolls and thinks most of them are actually scared of her.

"They call me a lot of names from witch to b*tch, but act shocked when I say 'I am a b*tch'. So what do they think? That it's okay to call me a b*tch but I can't call myself that? No, that's nonsense and I won't have people thinking they have power over me, because they don't."

All we can say is Zodwa Wabantu is not a b*tch — but a bad b*tch
