Mzansi star Thuso Mbedu has just scored her second international nod in the form of a nomination at this year's International Emmy Awards. The actress was nominated in the Best Performance by an Actress category for the second time in a row, following her nomination last year. 

Mbedu was nominated for her role as Winnie in "Isithunzi". 

"Wow, look at God! To be nominated twice is amazing. The first time was great but this second time is sweeter. I am blessed to have worked with such a great team and am humbled to be representing South Africa and the talent that it possesses at the awards ceremony," she said in a statement released by her management," Mbedu said.

The star also tweeted her excitement.
