Cassper Nyovest had a monumental weekend and wrapped it up by making peace with his biggest rival.
After months of building it up, Nyovest had his fans elated at the Fill Up Orlando Stadium concert a few days before the anniversary of his Fill Up the Dome concert last year.
The stellar Fill Up Orlando Stadium show had the venue packed as Nyovest kept bringing out other crowd favourites to perform beside him.
This included rappers Nasty C, Anatti and Nigerian star Wizid as well as local gqom? favourites Babes Wodumo and Big Nuz’s Mampintsha.
Nyovest and the gqom couple debuted a new song which will be on their Babes album.
Fans tweeted heavily and had the rapper trending, though the #Fill-?UpOrlandoStaduim hashtag was mysteriously blocked.Among those who were delighted was @ThatGirl_Wendy, who tweeted: “You are the BIGGEST artist in Mzansi @CassperNyovest…The real national treasure! WOW!”Before the show, rapper AKA, who is Nyovest’s nemesis, tweeted him to wish him good luck.“Good Morning!
This is the day the Lord has made. @casspernyovest, today is your day. Good luck & God bless,” he wrote.
This got 10 000 retweets.Nyovest responded: “Thank you for the well wishes @akaworldwide.”The two later seemed to hug and exchange smiles, according to pictures by Thembani Manganyi.
