Kwesta, Amanda Black, Lira to headline #Moretele Park gig

The organisers of one of South Africa’s longest running music concerts, have pulled out all the stops to ensure that the 2017 edition of the Moretele Tribute Concert exceeds the expectations of its fans.

The line-up includes Amanda Black, Kwesta, Selalelo Selota, Ringo Mandlingozi, Black Motion, Lira, Ladies In Jazz, Swazi singer Sandz, Robbie Malinga & Musa, Bhudaza and Jaziel Brothers to mention a few. 

In its 19th anniversary, the concert showcases different music genres, including jazz, afro- soul, and dance and hip hop.

The show takes place at the City of Tshwane’s Moretele Park on Saturday, September 2.

The Delft Big Band Academy showcases young musical talent

In conjunction with SAMRO, Drakensberg Promotions, on August 26 will also host a music business workshop, designed as a panel discussion and presented by top industry professionals aimed at musicians and others in the industry eager to know more about the business of music. 

The workshops cover business operations, event production, royalties and the latest trends in the music industry.
