Shahid Kapoor has always been a prominent part of award functions as a host and through his fabulous performances. However, lately he’s been rejecting all offers to perform on stage due to his hectic schedule.
A source close to the actor said Kapoor was a great dancer, which was why every year he was approached by various award organisers to perform at their functions. “However, this year Shahid refused all offers. He is very busy shooting and has a packed schedule.”
The young actor is shooting back to back for two films – Raj Kumar Santoshi’s Phata Poster Nikla Hero (also starring Ileana D’Cruz) and Prabhudheva’s Rambo Rajkumar (with Sonakshi Sinha).
“Shahid has been shooting every day for the past few months. More than performing on stage, he could not plan enough time to rehearse and, therefore, he preferred to let his performances take a back seat,” said the source. – Oneindia.in
