The unauthorised Oscar Pistorius biopic 'Blade Runner Killer' didn't sit well with South African audiences after it aired on SA screens.

The controversial  movie aired on the Lifetime channel on Saturday at 8pm with the movie starring Andreas Damm as Oscar Pistorius and Toni Garrn as Reeva Steenkamp.

The movie is based on public records of the ordeal with it focusing on the night of the shooting along with the eventual trial.

The making of the movie came as a shock to both the Pistorius and Steenkamp families, with the Steenkamp family even threatening the film's producers with legal action.

Viewers were already apprehensive after viewing the trailer in early October and after watching the actual movie it seems their fears were justified.

This Oscar pistorius movie is kaka, biggest movie lie ever. Reeva Steenkamp was a slut that was after Oscar's money and you all know it!!😠😡😡

This Oscar Pistorius movie is such crap. The people's accents are so weird they can't even pronounce the character's surnames properly. Lifetime please stop making such unnecessary and senseless movies. Respect South Africans and let us tell our own stories. Epic failure

The Oscar Pistorius movie is upsetting. They couldn't even use South African actors? Or at least force an accent?
