Jannes Eiselen, who played crazy ex-husband Kerrin Edwards to Charity (Makgofe Moagi) on Skeem Sam has died.
The actor passed way after last week following a six year battle with brain cancer.
Eiselen was popularly known for his role as Dufresne in season 1 of pirate drama Black Sails and also starred in medical drama Hillside as Dr Bekker.
The 36-year-old was best known for his role as Dufresne in season 1 of pirate drama Black Sails.
Friend and fellow actor Emmanuel Castis posted a message on Twitter:
RIP @jeiselen a truly beautiful soul and phenomenal talent. You fought bravely Warrior.

The Skeem Saam team shared the sad news on their Faceook page:
“Dear Skeem... It is with great sadness that we inform you of Jannes Eiselen's passing. Jannes played Kerrin Edwards (Charity's husband) for a couple of months on Skeem Saam. He was diagnosed with a brain tumour 6 years ago, but remained positive throughout; never giving up. He was always pleasant, polite and professional; always a pleasure to work with. Jannez passed away last week Friday after a long illness, two days after his 36th birthday. He will be missed by all of us here at Skeem Saam.”
