If you’ve been watching the third season of "Insecure", then you’ll know that there was a worldwide outcry from hurt fans who wanted Issa Dee (Issa Rae) to make things right. They wanted her to bring back her eponymous character’s ex-boyfriend, Lawrence Walker (Jay Ellis).
Issa said she wouldn’t be doing that because how many of you still have your exes in your lives? Fair point. But then, this week, she caved and… spoiler alert: Lawrence is back. And at the worst time too!
You see, Issa and this hottie named Nathan seem to really click and things are going splendidly between them. They were all set to watch Beyonce at Coachella and were really getting to know each other. In a myriad of ways.
They were clearly too good to be true because this episode just means one thing: Lawrence’s return is a threat to Nathan and Issa. What are we calling them? Nissa? Issthan? Now that the fans were so excited to see Issa bag a cute guy, will they be able to handle Lawrence disrupting that?

Ugh! I could never stand seeing Lawrence’s face. Have you seen this week’s episode? Also, the show is about Issa so since they’re no longer dating there’s no room for him or his growth. He leaving the show allows for Issa’s role to continue to develop, especially with her friends
