Jane Dutton will join the evening line up on eNCA from July 16.

Respected international news personality Jane Dutton will join the evening line up on eNCA from July 16.

Jane returns to South Africa with a wealth of experience. She has worked all over the world for the globe's top news stations, including Al Jazeera, CNN, BBC World and CNBC.

With a news career spanning over two decades, Jane will bring her extensive knowledge and talents to eNCA. Her adaptable and modern interviewing style has a reputation for eliciting responses from even the most reluctant interviewees. Her talk show on eNCA will feature top newsmakers engaging on the current issues facing South Africa.

Jane, who has previously read news on e.tv, says returning to the media group is an exciting new chapter.

“I’ve been around the world and back again, but I suspect coming home to my beloved South Africa and eNCA could prove to be the best adventure yet. I am delighted that eNCA has given me the opportunity to give back and make this homecoming happen.” said Dutton.

eNCA's Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief, Mapi Mhlangu says she's thrilled to welcome Jane to the station's line up and believes she will bring a compelling dynamic to night-time programming.

"Over many years, Jane has established herself as a leading international anchor with a firm grasp of the big global issues. We are confident that she will bring that perspective to the new line up. The programme will incorporate viewer calls and fast-paced social media interaction, testing the real pulse of South Africa every night. As we celebrate ten years on air, this show will represent just one element of a bigger programming and presenter reconfiguration designed to meet the changing needs of our audience. We have entrenched our position as the country's leading television news channel over the past decade, and Jane’s presence will further cement that." said Mhlangu.

Jane Dutton will make her first appearance on eNCA on DStv (Channel 403) on July 16 at 8pm.
