Local TV personality Somizi said his upcoming Comedy Central Roast will be "the biggest and best roast ever".
Despite the panel of roasters who will undoubtedly take no prisoners, Somizi told Channel 24 that he will never run out of comebacks.
Filming of the Comedy Central Roast of Somizi will take place on Thursday, April 26, at The Lyric Theatre at Gold Reef City, Johannesburg and will air on DStv channel 122 on 8 May at 9pm, with an uncensored version available on Showmax from 8 May.
The panel of roasters include — among others — Fikile Mbalula, DJ Fresh, Nomzamo Mbatha, Ntsiki Mazwai, Schalk Bezuidenhout, Skhumba and Kurt Darren, with Gareth Cliff as the Roast Master.
