Karen Sisco is an action-packed cop drama which begins on SABC3 at 7.30pm. It stars Carla Gugino as a smart, sexy and tough US Federal Marshal.
Karen's father Marshall (Robert Forster) is a private investigator who is now semi-retired. While he takes great pride in Karen's law enforcement skills, he also holds out hope that she may settle down with a loving husband some day.
However, it seems the feisty Karen is more likely to follow in her father's footsteps.
Seasoned Federal Marshal Amos Andrews (Bill Duke) is Karen's boss. In her job she finds herself contending with a variety of challenging situations, including a partner who has a deadly agenda; chasing escaped cons on the run from the mob; pursuing a parolee with a vendetta against her father; and even falling for a guy who turns out to be a bank robber.
Trial and Retribution begins on SABC3 at 10pm and will run for four episodes.
