SEABROOKES THEATRE: Daisy Spencer presents The P.A.R.C, until Sunday. Melody (Spencer), is an aspiring musical theatre star, who is living testimony to the saying, “fake it to make it”. Realising that being an amazing actress and dancer is not enough to make it in the industry, she convinces herself that she is a singer, as the infamous “triple threat” is what directors are after. After countless rejections, Melody’s mum sends her to The P.A.R.C (The Performing Arts Rehabilitation Centre) to receive counsel from Dr Doolilpersad (Rory Booth). ELIZABETH SNEDDON THEATRE: KickstArt, in association with Pieter Toerien, presents the West End comedy Jeeves & Wooster in Perfect Nonsense until Sunday. Join Jonathan Roxmouth as the aristocratic fool, Bertie Wooster, and Graham Hopkins as his valet, Jeeves, with Robert Fridjhon as Seppings. When a country house weekend away takes a turn for the worse, Bertie is called on to play matchmaker, but also to steal a silver creamer from Totleigh Towers. Plays at the Hilton College Theatre until Friday before returning to the Playhouse Drama stage in Durban from February 16 to 20 March. SEABROOKES THEATRE: Decadence, a burlesque music revue, will run February 19 to 25. An original music revue set in the 1940s at the end of the burlesque era. The show follows Anastasia, a young dancer who has always enjoyed being a good girl giving in to her naughtier side. This changes when Anastasia, caught up in a challenge between two dance legends, is forced to choose a side, a decision that will further the evolution dance, in one way or another. Her journey is fraught with temptations ranging from freedom to inebriation to seduction to settling down and starting a family. Runs from February 20 to 25. R100 at Webtickets.

THE PLAYHOUSE: Audiences will be given a window into the world of Russian culture when Crown of the Russian Ballet’s 175th Tchaikovsky Anniversary Celebrations grace stages on April 28 and 29 at 7.30pm. The programme opens with the world premiere the company’s artistic director Anatoly Emelianov’s new production of one of Tchaikovsky’s masterpieces, the one-act ballet, Manfred. The second half features two favourites – a suite from The Sleeping Beauty featuring the original Marius Petipa choreography and the one-act Romeo and Juliet choreographed by Emelianov.
