The biggest hospitality marquee, Amstel Boomtown, which has been the talk of tent town year after year, is celebrating its 10th anniversary at this year’s Vodacom Durban July.
And to add to the amplified experience, they have included raised hospitality decks, a side trackside viewing veranda and other exciting experiential attractions.
The tent, known for hosting superior hospitality, epic event layouts and awesome music line-ups will yet again be among the best of the best marquees.

This year, Amstel Boomtown has teamed up with East Coast Radio as their exclusive radio partner with Bongani Mtolo as the event MC. While guests soak up the Vodacom Durban July atmosphere that’s on offer on the day, East Coast Radio DJs Deon G and Lubz, will be in the mix on the main stage, among performances from Babes Wodumo, HHP, Shekhinah and Bongo Maffin.

The marquee promises a night of top class acts, sound, lighting and a high energy experience. East Coast Radio general manager Boni Mchunu, who is excited about the partnership, says the day is not only about horse racing, but about fashion and lifestyle too.

Lubz co-hosts the Lubz and Erin Show every Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 2pm to 6pm.
