Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100, presented and hosted by the Motsepe Foundation, will be an all-day festival full of surprises.
Gates open at 11am and we have all sorts of exciting goings-on lined up to keep you entertained during the day; as if the lineup and incredible commitments to ending extreme poverty weren't enough.
A reminder that there will be no camping allowed outside the FNB Stadium the night before, but we’ve got loads of treats for the early-arrivals to give you a reason to leave the house in good time.
1. No spoilers…
But, a major artist (we’re mentioning no names) will be opening the show with a never-before-seen collaboration that you seriously won’t want to miss just because you’re stuck in a queue at the security checkpoint.
2. There will be road closures
You can find out about all the best ways to get to the FNB stadium here, but it’s always good to leave plenty of time for your journey to make sure you’re not stuck in a traffic jam while your favourite act is singing their heart out — or while world leaders are making incredible commitments towards ending extreme poverty by 2030.
