The Melrose Arch Food and Wine Experience, with wine aficionado Juliet Cullinan and By Word of Mouth Catering, takes place on Wednesday and Thursday next week.
At Melrose Arch, Cullinan will bring together wines from a dozen of
SA's leading estates, including Bouchard Finlayson, Cloof, Waterford, Villiera and Hartenberg. Drawing on her extensive knowledge of fine dining, Juliet will match the country's premium wines to dishes created by the award-winning By Word of Mouth catering.
Guests will be welcomed at the ice-sculptured oyster bar. Moving down the menu, taste buds will be tantalised by a selection of soups, cheeses, sweet sushi and a smorgasbord of delicacies.
Tickets are R120 per person, with only 250 available per night. They must be booked in advance on 011-880-2213. The event will begin at 6pm and end at 9pm on both nights. Guests will be given a wine glass and Melrose Arch Food and Wine Experience catalogue.
