In April, local star, Bonang Matheba dazzled as the host at the centenary celebration dinner for Nelson Mandela in London, now SA’s 'Queen B' will be hosting Global Citizen Festival alongside Oprah Winfrey, Naomi Campbell, Gayle King, Bob Geldof, Tyler Perry and Forest Whitaker.

The news came shortly after the official announcement on Monday that Beyoncé and Jay-Z will headline the first Global Citizen Festival to be held on December 2, at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

'Queen B's fans and followers couldn't contain their excitement as they begin to congratulate the Top Billing presenter on social media.

Matheba thanked her fans. Posting a heartfelt message on her timeline, stating that she's been "weeping all morning", despite her knowing about the gig for some time now - after another follower asked her how long she's known about the hosting deal.
