The annual DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival, which is presented by Vodacom, is just a month away. Taking place on September 22 and 23 at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand, the fest is one to experience.

This is more especially true now that the Womandla stage has been announced. This is the main stage and as the title suggests, the stage is all about girl power. Lira and Simphiwe Dana are billed to appear on this stage.

But who should join them on this stage? If you were curating your own line-up, who would you add? How about the sublime Zonke? Or maybe Zoe Modiga, who is a brilliant young talent. It would also be interesting to see Yugen Blakrok on that stage - by now, everyone should know Opps - her track on the Black Panther soundtrack.

That stage will have a particular theme as well. Artists will pay tribute to women who have played major roles in making South Africa what it is today. Winnie Mandela is one of the icons who will be honoured.

American singer, Erykah Badu, was already announced as one of the international acts that will be performing but things just got a whole lot more interesting. Tickets are on sale at deliciousfestival.com - get yours before the early bird period is over.
