Tops at Spar Bierfest celebrates its sixth year in existence as SA's favourite proudly national annual touring festival of Bavarian bier culture!
With a refreshed festival layout and a richly expanded entertainment programme, Tops at Spar Bierfest 2016 invites you to get in touch with your inner Germaniac, lug on the lederhosen, dust off the dirndls and get ready to party with added oompah at the Newlands Brewery, Village Green, from the 4th - 6th November.

While the traditional oompah music remains a staple, giving the authentic Oktoberfest vibe, an exciting development will see the inclusion of South Africa's most-loved mock rock mash-up band - The Rockerfellas! Utilising the concept of the musical “mash-up” made famous by DJs and dance music producers, this five-piece band of merry musicians seamlessly blends the biggest hits of the 70's, 80's and 90's till now into a musical medley of mirth that no one can help but dance to!
