2017 marks the 20th anniversary of the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz Festival. To celebrate this significant milestone, a legion of international and local giants and luminaries of the jazz world will descend on Johannesburg to make magic on-stage at the Sandton Convention Centre for three days from 28 to 30 September.
The star-studded line-up includes six-time Grammy Award nominee Nnenna Freelon, popular Mali superstar Salif Keita, and celebrated South African jazz vocalist Tutu Puoane.
Tickets are on sale at Computicket at R700 for the Opening Night, R795 for a Day Pass and R1 350 for a two-day pass.
The winner will be able to enjoy the ultimate Joy of Jazz experience, with a phenomenal line-up of international and top local jazz musicians, and can savour their bottle of The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve in The Originals Lounge, where an exclusive bottle service will be offered.
