US singer Janet Jackson made a frantic call to 911 on Saturday after a nanny who was looking after her one-year-old son with estranged husband, Wissam Al Mana, became terrified by his behaviour.

According to ET, her brother Randy Jackson said the nanny was "terrified by his behavior and locked herself in a bathroom, so she could contact Janet.”

Jackson then called the police after becoming concerned for son, Eissa Al Mana's wellbeing. A watch commander with the Malibu County Sheriff’s Office told ET that police responded to a call shortly before 10pm at the Nobu Hotel.

According to sources, Jackson was not on the scene at the time of the incident.
