Britney Spears has dubbed her sons as “her world”.

The 36-year-old singer has 12-year-old Sean Preston and 11-year-old Jayden James with her former husband Kevin Federline, and in a sweet video posted to Instagram, she has gushed over how much she enjoys watching her brood “grow and smile and laugh”.

In the clip, Britney can be seen inviting her sons outside to play, before the three of them run around their garden together, along with their pet pooch.

The video was captioned: “Nothing makes me happier as a mom than watching these boys grow and smile and laugh!! They are my world and I love days like this when we get to just run around and play together (sic)”

The Slumber Party hitmaker also shared another clip of her sons in the gym, bouncing on trampolines, and attempting to do pull ups.

She captioned the second video: “Love watching these boys succeed when they put their minds to something... even if they cheat on their pull ups (sic)”

Britney’s love for her sons comes after she recently revealed she uses her performances to "boost to her confidence” and help her overcome her self-confidence issues.

She said: "I think it's an escape because honestly with how shy I really am, I don't think it's healthy. Performing is a boost to my confidence. It's like an alter-ego type thing. Something clicks and I go and turn into this different person. I think it's kind of a gift to be able to do that ... I'm very sensitive and sometimes I just want to run away because I'm a very shy person.

"I think energy is contagious and when I get onstage with the dancers, we all kind of vibe off each other. We feel the same energy and we connect. I think it's healthy to be able to put on the persona of being confident."
