As the colder days disappear to make way for warmer weather, so too we can say goodbye to heavy meals and welcome back lighter treats and, most importantly, ice-cream!
Homemade ice-cream is perhaps not on your list of simple foods, but I found a recipes that even your child can make, like Salwa Smith’s Oreo ice-cream.
Yummy!
Homemade 3-ingredient Oreo Ice cream
Ingredients
1 packet Oreo biscuits roughly crushed
500ml fresh cream
1/2 tin condensed milk
Method
Whip cream until fluffy not stiff
Fold in half tin of condensed milk
Then add 1 packet of crushed Oreo biscuits.
Put mixture in a suitable container for freezing.
Freeze for at least 6 hours
Makes about a litre
