It was a sad evening on last Sunday’s episode of My Kitchen Rules SA as engaged couple, Dirk and Bahia, became the first couple to be eliminated at the headquarters.
This came after the Somerset couple unfortunately missed the mark after a Sudden Death elimination cook-off against millennial besties, Minnie and Tee.
On tonight’s show of My Kitchen Rules SA, it’s the home cooking teams’ second People’s Choice challenge- but it won’t just be the show’s tough judges and members of the public determining who take the honours.
The competitor teams will be doing their all to impress the South African Culinary Olympic team, no less!

The remaining seven teams- Kim and Pashi, Maj and Joleen, Maritsa and Maradine, Donald and Luyanda, Rox and Spoen, Jalal and Adrie and Minnie and Tee will have to travel to seven legendary destinations for the weekly culinary showdown in this dynamic challenge.
The seven members of the South African Culinary Olympic team have exceptionally high standards, and if that isn’t enough pressure, the lowest-scoring team will go home.
