Hendrick’s Gin’s is well known for its inexplicable botanical signature which is composed of a series of eleven unique botanicals from all over the world.

One of those is from the Angelica plant.

Angelica roots are long, fleshy and spindle-shaped; beset with many descending rootlets. The edges of its leaflets are finely toothed or serrated – making it a rather unusual plant. It then comes as no surprise that when its roots are combined with fragrant cinnamon and peppermint, and magically infused in green charteuse, with fresh lime juice, maraschino liqueur and Hendrick’s Gin – the results are otherworldly.

Angelica is known for its unique, pervading aromatic odour.
