Earlier on in November, MANGERmanje launched its food experience in Mesh Club, at the Keyes Institute, aptly referred to as “the uncommon ground for uncommon people” by the millennials that frequent it. Guests were treated to a curated lunch that set vibes flowing into the weekend. While summer heats up, experience the tastes and flavours of African cuisines and explore the beverage culture in Africa.
With no experience ever being the same, MANGERmanje offers curated food journeys under an assortment of their owned events such as: Brunch, Brunch Plus, Burn BBQ, Feasts, Food City, Street Feast, Prosecco & MCC Festival and Food Hall. These weekly, monthly and annual events offer a glimpse into the enticing world of African gastronomy.
“The Africa food narrative is vastly under served. We want to create an opportunity for the world to see, taste and experience our food culture. As a continent it’s time for us to showcase ourselves”, says Hardy McQueen, the Founder and Publisher behind MANGERmanje. As a chef, his love for food experiences is apparent in his desire to create a brand that cultivates food as an experience beyond the plate.
A hub for foodies, chefs, travellers and explorers, MangerManje’s diverse palate is an extension of its collaborators and partners. In the heat of the summer, feast your eyes on the upcoming summer programme that will keep your social calendar bubbling and sizzling with settings that curate memories and moments surrounding food and friends.
With an impressive list of clients such as Martell, G.H. Mumm, Absolut Vodka, Chivas Regal, Grey Goose Vodka, Nescafé, and Martini Prosecco, MANGERmanje is not just a brunch event. It’s the merging of food experiences and gatherings that culminate into the trendiest evenings to be part of.
Your journey starts now; just take a bite.
