There is no better way to celebrate summer than with seafood and these garlic and paprika prawns will definitely become a family favourite. The salt is that secret ingredient you've been missing when preparing prawns.


¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil

8 - 10 garlic cloves

500g PRAWNS (peeled and deveined)

Cape Foods Himalayan Pink Salt with Garlic 

Freshly ground pepper

¼ tsp smoked paprika

Pinch of cayenne pepper


Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat. 

Add garlic and cook for about 5 minutes. 

Stir frequently to ensure that the garlic is softened, not browned. 

Place the prawns in a single layer along the bottom of the pan and sprinkle over Cape Foods Himalayan Pink Salt with Garlic, freshly ground pepper, paprika and cayenne pepper. 

Cook for approximately 3 to 4 minutes until the prawns are pink on the bottom. 

Flip and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until prawns are opaque throughout. 

Serve hot.
