The Royal Livingstone Hotel by Anantara has launched a new Gin Bar with a menu that blends a true out of African experience.

Their list of 13 premium gins hail from France, Scotland, England and South Africa and can be enjoyed either on ice or with tonic from Fever Tree’s range of flavours – a zesty bitter lemon, vibrant ginger ale or a taste of the Mediterranean.

But, you don’t have to go all the way to Zambia to enjoy a summer drink.

Here’s how you can make you own gin fizz:

Ingredients

50ml gin

Dash of lemon or lime juice

1/2 teaspoon superfine sugar

80ml Soda water

Two slices of lemon for garnishing

Method

Pour the gin, juice and sugar into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

Shake vigorously, to ensure it is mixed thoroughly with the other ingredients.

Strain into a chilled highball glass with ice cubes.

Top off with soda water.

Garnish with lemon
