A mere 25km drive from the Cape Town CBD, Catharina’s is located at the Steenberg wine estate. 

Boasting idyllic mountain views, the eatery now offers a one- course lunch, perfect for quick lunch meetings.

Known for creating uncomplicated, pocket friendly dishes, Catharina’s Chef Archie Maclean created an uncomplicated menu thats can fit into the busiest schedule. 

Options on the menu include a pasta of the day, a selection of salads - includng chicken ceasar and smoked salmon - toasted sandwiches, burger and what’s a Cape Town lunch menu without fish and chips?

A club sandwich, made of a toasted panini with grilled chicken, bacon and boiled egg, will set you back R125. 

Chef Archie’s take on fish and chips made with battered kingklip with hand cut chips and a side salad comes to at R140. 

If you are in the mood for a burger and chips, the Steenburger at R145, includes a beef burger with gherkin, avocado, blue cheese and a fried egg. 

The meal also includes hang cut truffle parmesan chips and coleslaw.
