Members of law enforcement stuffing their faces full of doughnuts is one of the most enduring stereotypes about the boys and girls in blue.

In the wake of Doughnut Day, Krispy Kreme South Africa has brought back our favourite flavours since its inception in 2015 with the hashtag  #KrispyKremeFanFavs.

It all started with the original glazed doughnut, now they offer a plethora of delicious doughnuts that have delighted South African Krispy Kreme fans for nearly three years.

These are the sweet treats on offer:

In 2016, Krispy Kreme launched the Crunchie and Flake 99. The Crunchie doughnut is an unglazed shell, dipped in chocolate icing, filled with Caramel Kreme and topped with Crunchie Bar bits.

The Flake 99 doughnut is an unglazed ring dipped in chocolate icing with a chocolate Kreme swirl in the centre, finished with a Flake 99 half.

2017 saw the introduction of the Lamington doughnut - which is a Raspberry syrup soaked ring rolled in coconut. Fast forward to 2018, when the Rolo doughnut hit their display cases and took us on a “Rolo-coaster”.

The Rolo doughnut, an unglazed shell filled with Caramel Kreme, dipped in chocolate icing and finished with chopped Rolo and salted caramel drizzle is sure to re-delight.
