CAPE TOWN- Two more Covid-19 related deaths have been recorded in South Africa, bringing the total to 7, while infections now stand at 1505, an increase of 43.
Health minister Zweli Mkhize made the announcement at a media briefing at Khayelitsha Hospital, Western Cape.
An 80-year-old male and 81-year-old female, both from KwaZulu-Natal passed away on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
Neither patients had left the country or travelled.
