CAPE TOWN- South Africa has registered 40 new Covid-19 related deaths bringing the death toll to 683 while the total number of infections is at 32 683, an increase of 1 716 infections.
Health minister Zweli Mkhize said 16 809 people had recovered from the virus.
The number of Covid-19 tests done in the last 24-hours was 23 242 increasing the total number of tests conducted to 725 125.
